Custom Built-Ins
Our clients envisioned a more functional and stylish use of two key areas in their home: the mudroom/laundry area and the kitchen. Our challenge was to create custom built-ins that not only provided additional storage but also enhanced the aesthetic flow of the home. The result? A seamless integration of style, functionality, and craftsmanship that elevated both spaces.

In the mudroom and laundry area, we designed a custom built-in featuring a bench with storage both above and below—perfect for tucking away personal belongings while keeping the space organized. The back wall is adorned with a stunning shiplap detail, accented by hooks for coats and jackets. Directly across, we reimagined the laundry space, adding upper cabinets for ample storage, a sleek white quartz countertop for folding, and a unique hidden feature: a shiplap backsplash that conceals access to the plumbing shutoffs. This balance of design and practicality ensures both beauty and efficiency.

In the kitchen, our clients wanted to extend their space to create a custom coffee/bar area. We installed custom base cabinetry paired with a stone countertop that seamlessly matches their existing kitchen. To add a touch of character, we included a shadow gap shiplap accent wall, topped off with two floating white oak shelves that are beautifully stained to complement the home's hardwood flooring.
