Seaside Sips

Custom Cabinetry

In this project, we revitalized the dining area by transforming a once underutilized blank wall into a stylish and functional bar area. Custom-built cabinetry was meticulously designed to house a dual-zone wine and beverage fridge, offering both convenience and elegance. The cabinetry was painted in a complementary color and accented with navy seagrass wallpaper, creating a striking focal point that not only distinguishes the bar area but also significantly increases the kitchen's storage capacity.

To further enhance the overall design and define the spaces within the open-concept floor plan, we introduced a nickel gap shiplap feature wall along the hallway leading from the main entrance off the deck to the bedrooms and guest bathroom. This thoughtfully placed feature wall adds texture and depth, serving as a visual anchor that clearly delineates the kitchen/dining area from the living room. The shiplap hallway acts as a subtle yet effective separator, ensuring that each space retains its distinct purpose while maintaining a harmonious and cohesive flow throughout the home.

The result is a beautifully balanced space that seamlessly integrates functionality with coastal-inspired design, elevating the entire living area and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the home.
